At Annapurna Naturopathic Women's Health Care Clinic, we endeavour
to provide you with the highest quality naturopathic care. This
means that your appointment times are long enough so that we
can be thorough in our examination of your complete health; that
the naturopathic care you receive is the most up to date available;
and that our focus is on your total health.
Your first visit a is one and a half hours long. The appointment is long so that we have enough time to thoroughly examine your entire health, not only looking at your primary complaint. During this visit, my goal is to understand your health issues and other factors that impact your life. We look at your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, with enough time to really understand you health issues and goals. A physical examination is also performed during this visit.
To book your first appointment please call 416-877-0474 or
email us any questions you may have to info@annapurnanaturopathic.com.
After your first visit, a comprehensive treatment plan is formed
to address your health complaints and health goals. All of the
issues that we have discussed during the first visit are addressed,
and a plan is proposed that integrates all aspects of your health.
During the second visit, we go over this treatment plan as an overview
of your road to health, and discuss options so that it meets your
needs. Follow-up visits are scheduled to track progress, or deal
with any additional health issues that have come up. Most treatment
plans begin with dietary and lifestyle recommendations, since they
form the base of overall good health. Later on, other modalities
of treatment are used such as homeopathy, herbal medicine, stress-reduction
techniques, acupuncture and additional nutritional supplements. »Read

Once your initial complaints have resolved, and you are in overall better health, we move onto another very important aspect of naturopathic medicine - preventative health care and health maintenance. This includes a close examination of family history, and risk factors for diseases such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes or osteoporosis. Here, my goal is to support a healthy lifestyle and provide education for ways of preventing future disease. Health maintenance includes regular motivation so that you can continue with your healthy lifestyle (eating well, exercise, relaxation), yearly detoxification / revitalization programs, and dealing with any additional health concerns that arise. Visits for health maintenance are generally once every 1-3 months.
